I got the control board section of a Golden Tee Fore! machine from an estate sale for $20. It had been removed from the original cabinet, but I was assured that everything worked as it should. That wasn't entirely true, but you can't argue with $20.

I decided to create a new cabinet for the control board to sit on. Upgrades included replacing the switches, fixing the old trackball, then rewiring all the electronics into the new cabinet with the additions of a new video board, amplifier, speakers, and power management elements.

The resulting cabinet stands alone, but can be plugged into any television with an HDMI or VGA input. This was a really fun project. It was awesome to see something that was essentially being thrown away revived and able to be played once again.
