Maker Portfolio

I found this ornate frame at a thrift store and decided to create a Magic Mirror for my wife. It runs a dedicated web server from a Raspberry Pi displayed on a TV behind a piece of two-way mirror.

It shows our Google Calendar events, the weather, time and date, RSS news feeds, rotating compliments, and various other widgets that can be toggled with a smartphone. I also included a motion sensor to turn the display off unless someone is standing in front of the mirror.
